I sing all kinds of styles really but as my voice has matured it seems that country rock describes my genre best.

The guitar playing and friendship of Backroom Boys Doug Morter and Jerry Donahue has been of great help and inspiration.

I was lead guitarist with Irish pop group "The Trade" in the late 60's, moved to England in 1971, where I was half of the folk/rock duo "Blue Epitaph", producing "Ode by Blue Epitaph" on Holyground Records, Britain's first independent Record label. (Now a highly valued collector's item and re- released twice in CD format, most recently 2003)
In 1978 "Magus" was formed with Peter Howells. This resulted in one album, "Breezing Away".
"Magus" toured extensively in Great Britain, appeared on BBC radio and television, Covent Garden and was in concert with Ian Gillan from Deep Purple and Julie Felix.
Pete and I founded "Household Names", described by "Time Out " as a blend of rock, folk, reggae and dance. We received a lot of attention on the London scene for a while...
Doug Morter (Magna Carta, Albion Band, Maddie Prior Band and Backroom Boys) produced my first Solo CD "Dreaming Again" in 2000. The cd led to guest appearances on BBC Radio Ulster in Belfast and other live work in Ireland.
There has also been airplay on NRK P1, NRK local radios, BBC Radio 2, and Radio Scotland.
I have toured with Doug Morter as a duo and appeared with The Backroom Boys (Doug's band with Jerry Donahue, as well as "Then Came The Wheel", Doug´s project with Alan Thomson, Foss Paterson and Arran Ahmun.

The later CD entitled "Scenic Tours In The Darkness" which features the members of "The Jim Gordon Band "was released on "Acoustic Records" in June 2004. (ACR 9823)
Jerry Donahue, contributed two solos to the album as special guest.
In 2007 "Blue Epitapoh" appeared at the Bretton Hall fringe concert for Holyground Records, an event later released as a cd and Dvd entitled " "The Last Goodbye"

Latest projects include co writing Vidar Ruud´s cd " Following Dreams", released summer 2014
